On 3 May 2025, Darbon Institute Executive Officer spoke at WWDOGA 2025 in Cologne, Germany.

His message was clear: Non-consensual genital cutting is harmful, regardless of sex or gender, and The Darbon Institute exists to:

• educate the public and professionals about the harms of genital cutting;
• provide trauma-informed support services for people with lived and living experience of those harms; and
• meaningfully engage with and empower people with lived and living experience of genital cutting to be effective agents of change.
