On 19 June 2025, The Darbon Institute held a symposium at the 27th Congress of the World Association for Sexual Health in Brisbane titled 'Uncut voices: exploring the sexual, psychological, and lived experiences of circumcision harms'.
With the support of generous donors, the session was recorded:
- Jonathan Meddings, The impact of circumcision on penile sensitivity and sexual function
- Leeanne Morris, The relationship between male circumcision and adult mental health
- Leif Thompson, A case for unity against childhood genital cutting
- Panel discussion on circumcision harms
Importantly, these resources are now available on our website and will be incorporated into future online training as part of our education program, where they will reach a wider audience.
We at The Darbon Institute couldn't be prouder to stand with you as we work toward a healthier Australia and New Zealand where circumcision harms are prevented and survivors are supported.
